Set the perfect mood with a single touch: designer keypads, smart dimmers, and lighting scenes for every room, plus FX Luminaire landscape lighting outside.
Smart Lighting, Simplified
Replace rows of switches with one elegant keypad. Create scenes like “Good Morning,” “Dinner,” and “Movie Night,” set schedules that follow sunrise and sunset, and control every light in your home or business from a keypad, your phone, or your voice.
Centralized or Wireless
In new construction, centralized lighting moves dimmers out of the walls and into a single panel, leaving clean walls and one keypad per room. In existing homes, wireless systems like Lutron RadioRA 3 and Caséta add smart lighting with little or no new wiring.
Lighting Control in Southern California
Lighting changes how a home feels more than almost anything else. With a professional lighting control system, you can replace cluttered switch banks with designer keypads, set scenes for every moment, and let the home adjust automatically through the day. As a direct dealer for Control4 Lighting an authorized dealer for Lutron RadioRA 2, RadioRA 3, and Caséta, and an FX Luminaire landscape lighting dealer, we build systems that work seamlessly with Control4, RTI, URC, or AVA. We also install and service Brilliant, Clare, Legrand, and Linear systems.
What smart lighting can do
- Scenes: “Good Morning,” “Dinner,” “Movie Night,” and “All Off” at the touch of a button.
- Schedules: exterior and landscape lights that follow sunset and sunrise automatically.
- Away mode: lights that turn on and off while you travel so the house looks lived in.
- Designer keypads: engraved buttons that replace cluttered switch banks.
- Smooth LED dimming: dimmers matched to your fixtures, including 0–10V LED and tape lighting.
- Energy savings: dimmed lights use less energy and last longer.
Centralized lighting for new construction
In a centralized (panelized) system, dimmers and relays live in a lighting panel instead of the walls, and each room gets a single keypad that can control any light in the home. It’s the cleanest, most serviceable option for new builds and major remodels. Learn more about centralized lighting.
Wireless lighting for existing homes
Wireless systems like Lutron RadioRA 3 and Caséta replace standard switches with smart dimmers and keypads using your existing wiring, so you get scenes, schedules, and app control without opening walls.
Outdoor & landscape lighting
Great outdoor lighting makes a home look stunning at night, and makes it safer and more secure. We design and install FX Luminaire landscape lighting and handle all of the low-voltage wiring, transformers, and controls, so your outdoor lighting is designed, installed, and supported by one team.
- Landscape and architectural lighting: path lights, uplighting on trees and walls, facade and wash lighting, and lighting for steps, patios, and pools.
- Zoning, dimming, and color: FX Luminaire’s Luxor technology lets you adjust zones and brightness, with color options for holidays, events, and entertaining.
- Automatic schedules: lights come on at sunset and turn off when you choose, adjusting through the seasons.
- Security: exterior lights can respond to your cameras or alarm, with an “all on” button for peace of mind.
- Entertaining: patio and pool scenes that work together with outdoor audio and exterior shades.
- One app: control indoor and outdoor lighting from the same keypad or app, with Luxor integration for Control4, Lutron, Crestron, and Savant.
Frequently asked questions
Can lighting work with my shades, audio, and security?
Yes. Lighting can be part of scenes with motorized shades, music, your theater, climate, and security, all from one app.
Do I need special light bulbs?
Most dimmable LED fixtures work well when the dimmer is matched to the fixture. We’ll review your lighting and recommend the right dimmers.
Can you add landscape lighting to an existing yard?
Yes. Low-voltage landscape lighting can be added to established landscaping with minimal disruption. We plan fixture placement, run the low-voltage wiring, and install the transformer and controls.
